The Programs of the CLM

The program is Person and Service Oriented. Christ, the Person is the center of the program. Everything leads to Him, the Man for others... Who came to serve and not to be served.

The learners encounter Christ in the various aspects of the program, but above all, in the privileged moments of Eucharist and Reconciliation.

The CLED teacher is a minister who carried the Good News of God's love, gives birth to it in the classroom and in the world with everyone he comes in contact with.

The program presents the essential and fundamental contents of the Catholic Doctrine, as regards both faith and morals. The topics based and taken from the Cathechism of the Catholic Church are divided into four parts:

• The Profession of Faith (Creed);
• Church Liturgy and The Seven Sacraments;

• Prayer in the Life of Faith

E. VALUES INTEGRATION PROGRAM

The Christian Catholic education of Lourdes School of Mandaluyong aims to bring desired changes in the individual indicative of his personal and inner transformation. One of the goals of religious education is to prepare and educate the student to translate his faith and personal inner changes into flesh and blood values and attitude manifested in his daily interpersonal relationship with the members of the community.

A set of Christian and Franciscan values and manifestations based on the Department of Education framework and inspired by the expectations embodied in the school's Mission Statement and the Lourdesian Creed are outlined for each grading period. Every student is rated in his value development as concretely manifested in his daily school life inside and outside the classroom.

Although every subject has its inherent values, the integration of other related values is considered very vital.

Every teacher is a CAV rater. Hence, the trimestral mark in CAV is the average of the total evaluation of all the academic subject teachers.

However, the Office of the Assistant Principal for Discipline, in consultation with the Disciplinary Board, can lower the Christian Attitudes and Values (CAV) grade to an automatic NI (Needs Improvement) or a grade one step lower as the case may be, depending upon the gravity of the infraction reported, investigated and decided upon.
